    1983 GL, project: Cheap Thrills

Not much going on with the 83 lately. finished our new house (in construction pic attached) and moved in .The 83 is now in it's new home. once we get settled (and get our previous house sold), work will begin again. Except, this time, I won't be stuck in a one car rat hole......

74-78 Mustang II, project car wanted.

Anyone have any leads on a 74-78 Mustang II? Looking for a Hatchback model. It's a project I woudl like to start, so it doesn't even have to be a runner. Doesn't matter what drivetrain it has (or if it has one at all) since I have plans that Ford never thought of when it was built. Can be...

    New toy!

Trailer is pretty much done. Some paint and wiring to complete. But life has changed and I think the Argo needs to move on to it's next owner. So I'll be putting it up for sale soon, after I tidy up a few things I was working on. Now the interceptor is going to go looking for a new purpose or...

65-68 Mustang fastback, but want it completely rotted out!

So, pretty sure this idea is at an end for me. Prices are just too high on anything I could use. I'd have to pay too much for a barely usable shell, pay ridiculous shipping costs just to get it here, and then cut it up after all that expense. If I was going to spend that much, I'd more than...

65-68 Mustang fastback, but want it completely rotted out!

Well that lead fell through. Looking like this is not going to happen.i can get a 69 if I spend 5-10 grand and then ship it in on top of that. Or I could just finish the 83 the way I had planned. Maybe even make it a Fox "Mock 1"......lol!

65-68 Mustang fastback, but want it completely rotted out!

65/66 lead didn't pan out. Was long gone. But, have a new lead on a ripe 69 sportsroof. I've mentioned before that 69 is my favorite body style, 69 Mach 1 being my all time favorite. The 69 and is a workable wheelbase and track width to swap on my fox chassis too. Going to try and track down...

65-68 Mustang fastback, but want it completely rotted out!

Here's an idea of how rotted it can be (maybe even worse!). As an incentive, anyone who finds one of these rusted "gems" for cheap (or better yet, "just get it off my land" prices) can take the car for a drive once I get it finished....in 10 years! LOL!

65-68 Mustang fastback, but want it completely rotted out!

I MAY have a lead on one, but it's a very old lead and the car is likely gone or crushed by now. We'll see what turns up and I'll post up if I find something.....

65-68 Mustang fastback, but want it completely rotted out!

So, some of you may be familiar with my project 83 mustang; Cheap Thrills. I've reached a crossroads with it (can be running soon) and I find myself wanting to change directions. So, ambitious project time: I want to find a rotted out 65-67 Mustang fastback/2+2, strip the fox body work off my...

    New toy!

Almost 7 feet long and just over 200 lbs: https://youtu.be/_Ra8A9V0g9A (I would embed the video, but this forum has always worked weird for me so i cant get it to work. You have to click the link) Easy peasy! You can see where it is just a touch hard to control when it folds, so I have some...

    New toy!

Ran the planks through the planer and got that thimpsons crap off. Had to anyways to bring them down about 3/8 to fit the 1.5 angle. Restained in a solid walnut. Got most of the gate finished also: That gate is a heavy sumbitch! I'll have to rig up a spring gate assist or my already bad...

    New toy!

Well, that was a waste of perfectly good money! Thompsons isnt protecting worth a shite! The wood is actually turning grey/black faster than before it was treated. Water only beads in a few small spots and what doesnt bead turns a milky white when wet! I followed the directions and still got...

    New toy!

Thompsons water seal with semi clear cedar tint: Picked up the steel yesterday to finish it all, incuding a bifold loading gate. That was another 280 bucks. Now i just need to find time to get to it....
