Hope everyone made it out of the storm okay.
Although it may not quite be done in eastern NS.

Well, for us a bit of a glimpse into what it must be like to live in NS.

Prior to storm, although we did not have much snow by our standards, everything was white and ground fully frozen.
Usually ehen we have that, we are snow covered until late spring.

This morning, not a spec of snow to be seen anywhere.

Can’t remember it like this this late in recent memory.

That’s crazy. I watch the moos valley lodge snowmobile page. They were grooming since Friday with what appeared to be a decent snow cover. They posted a picture this morning and it’s all gone.

Looks like some snow and wind for southern part of Nova Scotia,
Halifax south, thats different, normally north is getting it,
not much here 5-10 cm, but looks like all nighter starting
supper time

this was really weird storm,
south shore, halifax, burnside all needed qucik plow.
cole harbour salt only,
valley nothing, nothing past airport,

been a long time since I seen storm like this
likely total was 8-9 cm

Sounds about right for the type of storms we have had so far this season. Last storm we had my brother lives on a corner lot in Moncton that has 2 driveways. His driveway on one side of the lot received rain and his wife’s received snow. Lol

So down in NH, there had been almost no snow, then 15cm on Sunday.
Tonight however…… 50-75cm!!!!!!

you can have it, I hate winter and cold. only people with being outside to much and brain

Speaking of crazy weather, I think today applies,
Maritmes are a mess, with snow, rain and big wind,
I thiink Moncto has worst forecast,
25 cm snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, and wind gust to 100km

Ya nuts, they were having problem with gas freezing at stations
they say colder tonight, ya no, i don't like the cold here
and it was zero today

We have probably around 25 F250 on the CMT team and over half were frozen over night and would not start. We are leaving them running all night and day now, looks like Monday it will warm up a little

Back in the 70’s they did the same while building the Trans Alaska pipeline.
In colder winter months they left every piece of equipment run 24 hours a day.
Trucks and heavy equipment.

This morning even colder card lock shut down due to hoses break off, so no gas I am down to a half a tank need to conserve. At least the out look it’s starting to warm up
