What's your winter driver - Don't say Mustang

I dont bleed any car maker blood color..... have had better satisfaction with import sedans than any other. Past jobs have been 50-65k annual road time and performance, reliability and durability from imports has been consistent. Survived the moose strike an a Nissan, so ride out the luck into the Maxima as a replacement.

Nice ride. 2.0 litre, is it?
IMHO, Fusion is best blue collar 4 door sedan on the road. .
Beautiful handling.
I don’t say this to non Ford individuals, but much better handling than vast majority of Mustangs.
I joke that suspension work on my Mustangs is not done until the Mustang handles like my Fusions.
I’ve owned three.
All V6’s with low profile tires. All beautiful handlers.
A 2006, first year.
A 2011, refreshed version.
And a 2017 Sport. Loved all three.
My son is still driving the 06 and the 11 is my current winter driver.
Traded the 17 on a 15 Mustang last spring.
I was treating it like a Mustang.
Bought in fall 2016, it had not seen winter yet.
So I thought if it’s occupying winter space in garage, I might as well have two Mustangs.

Here's a good winter driver (or May if you are in northern NB)
The Ice Bug Cometh! Custom VW Snow Beetle
Todd Fitch

And now, for something completely different, a VW Beetle-bodied tracked Ice Bug, uh, thing. From (where else?) The Great White North, Huntsville, Ontario, Canada comes a (presumably) one-of-a-kind ice fishing transporter complete with two holes, live wells, and a clam shelter that clips onto the back. Just reading about it makes you want to order Tim Horton’s and some Molsons, eh? The listing here on kiji.ca includes a brief description and states the seller aims to swap for maybe an aluminum boat and trailer. Thanks to reader Gord for the tip!

This “600 Triple” may be a Yamaha or Polaris inline three-cylinder snowmobile engine, making this a rare front-engine classic VW Beetle.

Ready to explore a frozen lake near you, or perhaps the moon, this ingenious vehicle packs enough LED lights to blaze a trail through a blizzard and let your buddies know you’re coming.

Don’t let the lack of a driver’s seat scare you. The tiller-type steering can (apparently) be operated from either bench seat. No stopping necessary, just say “Yeah; I’m tired of driving so why don’t you take over, eh?” What would you trade for this interesting ice fishing accessory?

Speaking of Fusions.
This is the car I drove this past winter.
2011, 3 litre V6, front wheel drive, sport appearance pkg, which includes 18 inch wheels. A great handler.
Have owned since new in April 2012.
165000 km, trouble free.
The 2006 I gave my son in the background.
It’s got well over 300000 km on it.
