Greetings from the Annapolis Valley. My wonderful wife recently purchased a gorgeous ‘16 Ecoboost Premium, and looking forward to local meet n greets or rides. I’m OIC of maintinance and TLC so you will see more of me than her on here This is her second stang, her first was a 71 Mach I

Thanks! I hope so too It’s pure stock, so no farkles to list, but she’s happy just the way it is…for now We have been looking for a reasonably priced bar and screen and someone willing to install it, but am too busy to research it atm. Any tips or direction would be greatly appreciated

Nice. As long as she’s happy. Will keep my eyes peeled for a bar and screen for ya. I installed my bar myself. If you are somewhat handy and have some patience it’s fairly straightforward.

Nope, I have the tools, but not the handy much these days. I can tear down and rebuild any motorcycle that has no more than 2 cylinders, and older cars that I could see and get at the engine, but times have changed and so has this 71 year old body lol. I would need someone to install.

Fair enough. I’m sure there is someone out there. I would not venture doing it on anyone else’s car but my own that’s for sure. I did one on someone’s else’s car in the past and I didn’t like doing it. I worried to much. Haha

Welcome and nice Mustang. Very nice wheels. The "Love the Drive" windscreen is probably the best. Not cheap, but easy to take in and out and compatible with most style bars. You can get the screen on Amazon.ca, saving any additional duties or tariffs.

I bought mine directly from Love the drive. They had a promotional discount of 15 percent off at the time and free shipping. Amazon may be cheaper without that though.

Just make sure you buy the one for with the bar or it will not fit correctly once you add the bar.

Also if you’re not in a huge rush. There are always some that pop up on marketplace.

Styling bar install is not a bad job - cdc and others have models to fit - make sure the screen you buy will fit the bar you plan on buying or you will be buying a second screen.Drop me a note if you can’t find someone to install the bar locally. I’ve had a Love the drive screen for 15 years in my convertible - great addition

Thanks so very much for the info and offer It will be a spring project. She is also looking for maybe a decent package deal somewhere in Canada. As it stands, the bar and screen are pretty much 1k without tax, so probably in the new years budget

Very nice car. Your wife has good taste.

The Love the Drive requires no tools.
It’s held on by straps that you cinch tight.
Very well engineered and made actually. Don’t let the lack of hardware give you a bad impression.
Makes it easy to remove if you have need for back seat. It folds flat and will fit in trunk.
I would start with it because it has all the function.

The bar is just dress up, no function really.

We stock the Love the Drive in Grand Falls, NB.
It’s the most popular model, that would fit the CDC bar which is probably the most popular bar. This could be verified with the part number.
CDC stands for Classic Design Concepts. They dominate the bar market, with or without a third brake light.

If you chose to buy in Grand Falls, you may be able to get it without paying shipping, courtesy of a certain Pony Express that drives by every one in a while. I can help facilitate this should it come into play.

Haha. The wind screen is an easy install. It wont look odd without the bar either. Defintly worth it.
