Your Ultimate road trip(s) - Where would they be?

I'm thinking about it but have to work out the finances - having a second / way to split rooms would make it much more affordable but its a lot of time for most.

2500kms to Charlotte likely 3200 home with the tail of the dragon detour and a few side trips. 6-7 days travel, 3 days there will kill 10 days . have a look at the website - Charter Members Garage

As much as I would love to, not likely something I could do.
Time is my biggest enemy in the Mustang season.

Definitely one of my favorites have down various sections in various trips..... love it!

This one is off the list for 2018, museum opening is delayed , building won’t be ready in time for April2018

Ok, so the big road trip dreams are getting slower.
where is your favourite drive if you have 4 hours and a nice day
Where would you go?

This is gives us all some new road to explore this summer

Aliona and I like leaving Cole Harbour and doing the loop as we call it.
Out towards Musqoudoboit back through Elmsdale and down through
Fall River in to dartmouth and home. With stop at Tim's its good for
3-4 hours and always a nice drive.

South Shore is fun as well. Almost like our Fall run, that takes bit a longer
and normally involves lunch.

A nice road trip that takes a few hours. Leave Moncton head towards Fundy park, drive trough the park and into Goshen. From here I like to take as many back roads as I can back to Petitcodiac for a Timies break and back to Moncton. Usually a nice relaxed drive. Some great photo ops along the way as well.

Dohhh. I was actually gonna keep an eye on this and see what I could do. Perhaps we could arrange something else along the same route??

Before the bridge on HWY 134 just south of Buctouche was removed,(there was a detour all last summer, hope new Bridge is up), Linda and I would leave home, head North on 133 onto 134, up to Cocagne, then turn right onto Rte 535 and follow the Coast up to Buctouche. Turn right back onto 134 and stop in Buctouche for an Ice Cream. Then continue through Buctouche through Ste. Marie and Coates Mills and into Moncton through Rte 490, the Irishtown Road. Takes about 2 hours with Ice Cream Stop.

The other Run we like is take Hwy 15 to Port Elgin, through Port Elgin turn right at T intersection, then follow back road along shore to Tignish Road, where we turn left. Tignish Road is a back way into Nova Scotia. At T intersection at end of Tignish Road, turn right and follow for approximately 10 minutes leading to Down Town Amherst. Once downtown, we will stop for a Beverage and or meal at Duncan's Pub. If we still have lots of time, we'll hop on the TCH Westbound, get off in Sackville, then Go through Sackville, turn right at the Hospital, head through Dorchester, Memramcook, and come out in Dieppe/ Moncton where we'll take a run through Downtown on Main Street, turn right on Vaughn Harvey then left onto Mountain Road, hopping back onto TCH East at Casino and head home. The full run is about 3 hours.

One run towards the Valley takes us Enfield to Windsor via route 14, stay on the old road , route 1 through Falmouth, Hantsport, stop at Just us Coffee for a coffee/ latte then on through Wolfville,New Minas to Kentville, turn toward New Ross , continue to Chester and return home on the old #3 to Halifax- reverse of our last fall run but skipping Peggy’s Cove loop . If time allows the turns of the Waverley road nicely connect to the route 2 to bring me back through Fall River / Wellington to Enfield.

The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village are great. Have been many times over the years (used to live near there for a while).
