I’m close to 160 kmh at the Exotics Racing in Las Vegas driving a Porsche GT 4
I bet that was a huge amount of fun for you.
Is there a coach/pro in the car with you during the laps, offering some driving tips and pointers? How were your lap times, and did they continue to improve?

I remember the first time I raced against the clock on a track. The first couple laps I went all out, tires screaming, understeering into, and then fishtailing out of, all the corners. To me, it felt like I was going really fast and would have produced some decent lap times.
One of the pro drivers talked to me before my next few laps to give me a few pointers. He had some great tips how my cornering could be improved on entry and exits, and how driving smoother is much faster. My lap times improved significantly with each lap, and my driving did not feel near as frantic.

Driving on a Track is so different, much faster in a controlled environment

Also anyone who takes a high perfromnce driving school, even if never planning on lapping,
Is a smart move, gives you great new advice from pros or semi pros, Skills which will help every daydriving
I highly reccomend to anyone who is driving a high performnce car.

Also its lots of fun, on track if your fast it actually doesn't feel like it,
harder you work, likely slower than you think.
On track running joke or goal is, to find the perfect lap, BTW
it doens't exist, but its great fun trying to get there.

I had an instructor in the car with me giving tips and such. One of the things he helped me with was where to look in the corner so as hit the fastest line. My best time was when I managed to get everything right. I had the 6th best time in my group even though I didn’t have the fastest car mostly because I tried to be as smooth as possible with the brakes steering and go pedal. The instructor even said that my control usage was quite smooth. I’d do it again in a heartbeat
