One of the most successful racing cars of the mid-sixties at the old Westwood circuit in Coquitlam British Columbia was the Fogg Motors '65 Mustang. The car was originally built and campaigned by Bob McLean who tragically lost his life in a Ford GT-40 at the 1966 12 Hours of Sebring. Initially, the car was all dark blue but after an accident was given the distinctive two-tone blue and white colour scheme. It was in this livery for the rest of its career as raced by John Hall. John worked for Fogg Motors Hi-Performance Division, which sold Shelby Mustangs and parts through the New Westminster B.C. Ford dealership. The car was classed as an A-Sedan, which under Canadian rules allowed the engine to run four Weber carburators for some races. I saw the car race many times at Westwood and the Knox Mountain Hillclimb event.
I came some close to buying , something very similar to this.
US dollar slowed me down and 22 hours one to get it.
customs, brokerage etc. If I had not bought the pro stock car, I would likely have it now lol
