Thought of the day.

Been a great couple of days, my fridge caved ( again)
so had to hunt for a new one, that was 4th time in 5 years.
LG sucks lol $2600 for fridge, $1200 plus in repairs,
ice never worked right and last 3 years not at all,
door spring broke 2 months ago, so this time when it quit
I threw it out. Between trying to pave today ( got two done before to cold to do)
I went to stores, well guess what, very few stock fridges, we order
takes 2 weeks:sorry
So after 7 stores, I found one and with some sweet talking getting it delivered tomorrow
instead of Monday :)

It is -10, minus whatever for wind-chill, snow flying everywhere and I noticed that there was way more traffic on my street than usual so took a peak and here we go Toyota's used car lot / body shop which is down the street from me is up in flames......wow

Wow, be interesting to see what the cause was.

Yeh Trevor know what you mean. I don't mind the snow so much as it is white gold to us and very much needed as an essential part of tourism with the snowmobile season but those winds that we have been getting lately I just hate with all those power failures etc. etc.!! And good luck with the new fridge, they sure don't build them like they use too eh ??

True about the snow roger.
But Florida relies on the sun for
tourism, I am thinking that is better option LOL.

Ya hard to believe we pay this much for crap and happy
if we get 10 years out of anything.
not quite like it used to be.

It's cold and windy but still awesome place to live guys. The houses are not getting covered by mud slides, washed away by water or blowen away by hurricanes. 100_1114.JPGYEA CANADA LOL

yes you are both correct, I guess regardless of where you live it comes
with its upsides and downsides. and this after spending last hours getting enough
stuff ready for one of the 3 forecasts we have for morning and all are quite different lol.

I am a summer guy, I have no use for winter and worse the cold.

There were 4 of us in 2 cars, Denny, and Jason in Denny's and Gerry and me in Gerrys. Gerry's posted a lot of stuff about the trip, a search under MAA should find it. As far as Tail of the Dragon went, Gerry, Denny and I had fun, Jason turned an interesting shade of green and sat out the last couple of runs. I'd describe the TOFD experience as the most fun you can have in a car with your clothes on

You know balance is off, Thursday afternoon at 4pm
we finished paving a driveway, at 8 am Friday morning I am plowing snow. :(
It is Nov 16th right? I mean I know the clocks went back
did someone screw with calendar also? Spoiled I guess,
first time in last 3 years I dropped a plow before January LOL
