I personally run Mobil 1 5W-20 and motorcraft filter in both my stangs. The old oil debate is deep that's for sure. You will get multiple different answers.

Mobil 1 is probably what I’ll use out of convenience and I’m old and drive slow er now

I switched to AMSOIL a couple years ago but I also run 5w30. The big thing is use an actual Ford filter on it and they “recommend “ changing your drain plug yearly( if you have the same plug as the 18-23) . I don’t change my plug but I do put new O rings on .

Ford full synthetic 0W20 and Ford filter in the Coyote.
For a few years now, Ford no longer makes a 5W20 spec in full synthetic.
It has been replaced by the 0W20.
The dealership techs explain that the 0 start up weight ensures instant flow to your overhead cams and valve train to prevent oil starvation at start up.
Then as the engine warms it gets to its thicker 20 weight.
Same Ford 0W20 full synthetic oil but with Ford Racing heavy duty FL820 filter in the 4.6 modular V8.
Ford Racing does not make a heavy duty filter for the Coyote.
It would appear that the original Ford filter for the Coyote is plenty good and no need to improve on it.
