Idea was good but would Think would have been better if you have went to machine shop and had them make you plates for the size of the frame would have better contact between the 2 might be wrong but Think would have put less stress where the washers are

There used to be a company in the US that made billet aluminum ones but I can’t find them anymore. What I will probably end up doing is denting the pipe a little like you do for header clearance.

I would clean up those rusted areas under plate, and give a quick piant, so it looks better and stops furture rust.
hard to tell in pics, but looks like a lot of salt residue on bottom of car.

There is a little rust on the chipped paint on the chassis braces, but as far as I know it has never seen salt . Still only has 37k on it and it’s 7 years old.
