The Challenger is a 2 door and the Charger a 4 door. A 4 door Charger with a Hemi is still better than the 4 cylinder Dodge Charger of the 80s and 90s. My friend Ma c that has the White 73 Mach1 had the “privilege” of owning one of those Turbo 4 cylinder Chargers back in the 80s and he said it was the worst piece of crap he had ever owned.

Yea, that was some fine work then with the Shadow and LeBaron falling in the same era. Shame these were the models Shelby had to work with. Maybe the Dakota was the best of the worst!

Sales numbers are out. Corona is hitting Mustang, Camaro and Challenger sales obviously. But it does not look good for the Camaro at all, while the Mustang holds up really good in YTD.

Camaro: 6,675 down from 12,433 (-46.3%)
Challenger: 9,880 down from 15,237 (-35%)
Mustang: 15,717 down from 21,625 (-27.3%)

YTD:
Camaro: 13,860 down from 24,516 (-43.5%)
Challenger: 22,018 down from 28,668 (-23%)
Mustang: 33,786 down from 38,542 (-12.3%)

Considering the state of the world Mustang has definitely held their own.

the auto makers are all taking a huge hit that is for sure. Then what do they do moving forward? Demand For new cars will be lower for years to come I would suspect.
