How many Mustangs have you owned?
My first was a 641/2 when I was quite young, with the plans to rebuild it. A year later with a better understanding
of not having any money and the cost to build, I sold it.
2nd was a 1989 4cyl, 5 speed, my daily driver.
3rd 2008 GT/CS vert, many of you new this car.
4th My latest a new 2016 GT350R

Not sure why but I thought I owned another one, but can't remember what, when or where

First was my '92, then I bought a '13 GT. Traded the '13 last december on a truck.

There will be a third one.

So my first car was a mustang, I was 16 or 17 years old. It needed body work and a new coat of paint to get it road worthy. It was a frost green a light colour, later it got a coat of dark hunter green. It was so dark some days it looked black. This was my first car, a 1967 289 auto. The attached pic is when it was green.

The second car in the pic was a 1966 vert 289 4 speed. This car had petty of mods in its life time. The engine had a cam, screw in rocket studs, F4B aluminum 4 bbl intake manifold, dual point distributor, high volume oil pump, long tube headers, etc. A roll bar, traction bars, sway bar up front. And Kelsey Hayes 4 piston disc brakes. This car was a medium blue metallic when I bought it, then painted it super white. Neither of these were factory colours, it original colour was spring yellow.
While I owned and drove these cars I could find parts and parts cars easily. I drug a 64 ½ back from Yarmouth, a 66 vert from prospect, and maybe a 67 or two along the way.
I started looking for a cobra when the mod motor came out, finally decided on the 08. All I can say from a handling point of view the golden oldies don’t compare. I guy I now says the Gt500 will go faster in reverse than all his other muscle cars of old. I wouldn’t go that far, but you get the point.

The one I dearly miss my 90Lx coupe.
And now my black 04 vert svt cobra and I love it so comfortable and sick fast.

I hear those cobra motors are bullit proof, and can take lots of power adders.

I had the chance to take a little ride in that Cobra last summer. The thing is just sick, love that wining sound and that sit back in the seat feeling..........friggin' awesome !!

Well me too it's my first one.

The day I made my last mortgage payment my better half (Mustang Sally) came home and said: Well Honey you can go and get your toy now.

So let me tell you I didn't give her a chance to change her mind. Picked this thing up in Victoriaville, Quebec and brought it home ASAP.
