Ford GT delivers Highest top speed.

Lease to buy an option with the GT, I wonder? You would think a dealer would have no problem selling a lease return, if a customer decided to return the car after the lease was up. Probably be worth more by then..

Although the fastest production car built by Ford, the GT is still a ways off from being the fastest in the world, Apparently that honor goes to theses cars, although are they really a production car.? Then again, is the GT even a production car?
For now, though, these are the fastest cars that can legally sport a license plate.

  • Hennessey Venom GT (270 mph) ...
  • Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (268 mph) ...
  • SSC Ultimate Aero (256 mph) ...
  • Koenigsegg CCR (242 mph) ...
  • McLaren F1 (241 mph)

I am sure they won't be leasing anyone Ford GT's
they are building 2000 this year, you had to apply via, video or letter.
They had over 12,000 applicants. Ford put together a committee to decide who would get them.
The criteria was laid out, a few things were avid Ford fan/buyer, you would drive the car.
( they don't want them sitting under wraps) and a bunch of other items.
Also you can't sell the car for ( not sure) one or two years.
