That front licence plate bracket is painful to look at, so many beautiful cars get ruined by drilling into the front fascia to mount it.

I know a front plate is the law in some parts, Ontario included, but if you're lucky, you can tell the dealer not to install it prior to delivery and then get a kinder, gentler bracket and still be legal. That was one lesson I learned with my '06 that I used when the '16 arrived.

No more front plate required in NB.
We’re good now.
Only my 06 has holes.
And it was an Ontario car.

Here, dealers asked the owner what they wanted to do before drilling on seasonal cars.
Even when it was a 2 plate jurisdiction.

My 15 did not get drilled.
Thankful for that.
