The annual Fathers Day weekend car show started with a pre-show meet up on Friday. The cars assembled in our local park prior to heading off on a cruise around the Parksville and Qualicum Beach area.
The main show on Sunday takes completely over the small town of Qualicum Beach. It is the largest car show on Vancouver Island, and possibly the largest one in the entire Province of BC.
There were several nice Mustangs attending the cruise night as can be seen scrolling through the photos.

Rarer Than The Mustang Boss 429...The 1969 Ford Torino Talladega.

NASCAR rules at the time required manufacturers to produce at least 500 road-legal examples in order to qualify for competition. Ford met the requirement and went beyond it slightly, creating 750 Talladegas strictly for homologation. The one year only production car came with a 7.0-liter (428 cubic inch) Cobra Jet V8, but its aerodynamic design defined its distinct identity as the Talladega model.
