I agree on your nice colour choice. Might get that way someday to see it in person. Covid stopped the trip this year.

My comet was a 4 door two tone 1973, bought in fall of 79. Doors and floor rusted, 302 used more gas than my 350 4 bbl Malibu which was then badly dented . Paid 500 , Got what I paid for, drove it for 5 weeks, sold it for 500. I swear I could hear it rusting in the yard. Drove imports for the next 10 years after that one

Mine were both 2 doors.Red one was a 200 6 auto and the blue one was a 250 6 standard.The Red one rotted out over 5 years and the blue one was not bad when it was sold.
