Not sure what year it was, but as a young teenager a friend of mine's father had a Cougar model with a 427 in it. It was a very fancy, with all the bells and whistles, more like a luxury car than a muscle car, but it would be a cool car even today.

I had a 1973 Comet in 1979. Was not near a nice as the car above to say the least. 302 auto that burnt 1.5 times the gas of my previous 1976 -350 4 bbl Chevelle. It didn’t stay in my fleet long
