This is not an original one built by Bill Thomas, as the few he built were all coupes. He had hoped to become the next Carroll Shelby, with support from Chevrolet. His idea was to build a Chevy powered American sports car that could beat Ford's Cobra's on the track. Sadly, Thomas's dream ended badly.
