Can’t believe this is real…

Hello everyone.
2010 I found out I had acute lymphoblastic leukemia with a bonus syndrome that would make me continually relapse.
Multiple relapses
Multiple heart attacks
Multiple cancer surgeries
Long rough road.
Doctor asked me what I wanted the first time he restarted my heart.
Out of the blue I said a new Mustang GT.
My health improved.
Last Thursday
I drove to Ohio straight from upper Maine.
Picked up my 2025 mustang GT premium with brembos.
Drove straight home getting caught in a snowstorm last 400 kilometers.
But slippery mode and sheer terror got me home safe.
This was as with most of us a teenager dream.
I’m alive after many doctors told my family to prepare.

Now my best years are beginning!

Worked at NAPA AND YEARONE most of my life.’
Even was a unicycle clown in the biggest circus.
Raced BMX BICYCLES
ANNOUNCED lots of races to xgames.
Let’s meet

So I gather from the above, driving from northern Maine to Ohio to pick up a Mustang, that maybe you’re not from Edmundston but rather Madawaska or nearby in Maine?

I’m Marc from Saint-Leonard.

There’s a few of us between Grand Falls and Edmundston that get together for the odd drive up here.

These are my babies.

Yes technically Madawaska.
Beautiful cars.
Northern Maine has limited car community unfortunately.
Have passport and shop almost totally in edmundston.
I’m planning on taking wife on a edmundston to grand falls trip this Saturday.
First time excited
 
I want to share my experience in this group.
From day one
Everyone on here have been amazing!
Everyone has offered good advice and friendship.
Lots of groups can get hostile and makes it not fun.
This group is doing everything right!
You treated me a foreign stranger like family.
Thank you to each of you.
I hope to meet all of the members in Moncton for Atlantic Nationals.

There’s a learning curve to attending the Atlantic Nationals.
Largest car show in Canada.
Got to line up early in the morning to get in.
Where’s the best places to park, etc.

You should dm Mcdavis above.
He’s an old pro at it.
Or plan on attending spring run to Taylor Ford in Amherst in June.
He’ll probably be there. You can talk in person.

The best on road action is on Mountain rd Saturday evening but there are no hotels in that area.
This group organizes a supper at a restaurant on Mountain Road Saturday to take in the action after eating.

For general action, there will be cars and traffic on Main street all weekend.
The Rodd Moncton on Main street would be a good one for sitting outside at, in Bore park right next door.
This one books quickly. It might already be booked up for that weekend.

Then honourable mention to Chateau Moncton and Hyatt Place Moncton, also both on Main street at opposite ends of downtown.

Then there are two large, multi floor, hotels right downtown also on Main street.
The residence Inn by Marriott and the Delta Hotels Beausejour.
