Best of 2025

Just thought it would be a good idea to look back on 2025, and post up the highlights.

Doesn't matter what it is...... Mustang related, MM event related, diecast..... if it was a highlight, feel free to share it.

Best diecast series of 2025 had to be the all Canadian Hot Pursuit set, not only for being Canadian, but four of them were Ford's.

Also enjoyed Autoworlds series of the 1966 GT40's that finished the 24 Hours of Lemans, also known as the Ken Miles Screwjob.

Other diecast highlights were the Vintage Ad Cars series from Greenlight and any of the HW Boulevard series.

Mustang wise, hit a 50,000 km milestone on the car, hard to believe it will be 10 years old in May 2026, but my order was submitted in October 2025.

You took some really great photo's of your trip to the West Coast. I didn't know your journey around the Province was so extensive. You saw some places not a lot of tourists get to see.
Duffy Lake for example. That area is one of my favorites. I began my adventures in that region back when access to it was just a rough dirt logging road, and you needed a 4x4 to travel it safely. I used to go fishing, hunting and gold panning. The place was wild with grizzly, black bears, deer, cougars and mountain goats being spotted every trip up there. In winter, it usually gets a large amount of snow, and more than once I needed to winch my Landcruiser FJ45 along the way.
