I just put back my battery and looks like is time to change it. Any recommmendations???

When I first got my car I had to change the battery in it (only 2 years old) so figured I'd go with OEM and installed one from Ford, twice as one even caught on fire where one of the posts was defective. So now I've been running for the past 5 years with one from Carquest with no issues whatsoever, just goes to show ??

I have a 4amp battery tender and never had any problem. It is hard on a battery even an alternator to leave the battery low and counting only on the alternator to recharge it.

I put 2 amp battery tenders on my Mustang and both my bikes to keep them charged for winter.

My plan was to go with an Optma but the Mustang died at jungle Jim's the Friday of the Fall run and was a rush to get one for the run before 9am Saturday. Walmart was the only one that was open that had one .. Brett's and APM also have Refurbished ones that have lasted for years in my daily ..

Yes use the same battery tenders on our summer cars and on the lawn tractor as well. Works a treat.

Yeah, I have a battery tender...I think next year I should use it ...lol...anyway, got a new battery at the CT close to my home and I’m back in business. Can’t wait to April...
