Anybody watch the recent Mecum Car Auction? There was one held mid-August, during the Monterey Car Week, that they hold the Pebble Beach Concour's show, and the Carmel By The Sea Show, the Historic races at Laguna Seca. There are several other auctions held during the week, but this Mecum one was the only one I am aware of that was televised.

Some results... Keep in mind these are US $$, and I don't believe the auction house percentage (commission), is included in the listed prices, so add at least another 10 % to them for that. Kind of interesting to see how prices are going for collector muscle cars..

Of course the few Cobra's that came up, were easily fetching $1,000,000+. A 66 GT40 went for $4.400,000, while later model Ford GT's were getting in the $230,000 to 250,000 range.
