2025 Motorsports Racing Season.

I stypically watch it on sky sports F-1 they don't cut into race action with commercials,
some fairly insightful commentary, also pretty good before and after race reporting.

So is the Sky F1 you watch a streaming program from the internet? Is it a paid subscription or an app?

Our TV service provider (Rogers/shaw) doesn't offer Sky as a channel or an app that i can see. The F1 races are all Sky broadcasts but via TSN networks. There are some adverts, (split screen), but I'm sure the commentary is probably the same.

Apparently the F1 race in Canada pulled in 352,000 spectators over the weekend. That's a pretty good turn out, especially considering there was only one Canadian driver who had no hope in heck of ever winning it. There were very few minutes of truly exciting racing to watch. Tire strategy played a significant roll in the final results. Regardless, George and Kimi both drove a near flawless race,, so Kudo's to them. The crowd sure loved Kimi. Great to see him on the podium at only 18 years old.

The pre-races, all Formula One Academy women drivers, appeared to be far more exciting. I wish those entire races were televised rather than just some of the hi-lights. I see Netflix has a new series about this race series, I have to check out.

Suzie Wolf runs that series, and her goal is to put a women in F-1
there some talented female drivers, I am sure will happen and I doubt it
will a PR stunt, now they are getting some serious backing, including form the F-1 teams
its only a matter of time.

This weekend coming, is the 2nd trac series weekend, whish is looking like my car will make its debut
Or atleast get a shake down and practice time friday if all goes well, be on the Grid Sunday :)

But in big news, first time since Mossehead Gran Prix, there will be a National series in Nova Scotia
and at AMP, its called Super Production series and Nissan Cup race,, bringing over 50 cars form Ontario and Quebec,
it should be a very cool weekend.

couple of links to check it out. 2nd link is AMP

I bet you really look forward to getting your car out on the track next weekend. A bit of nervous anticipation too perhaps..:) I hope it runs well for you.
Actually not nervous, or at least not yet,
So much time, energy and so much help from lots of people to get
to this point, i am happy and excited to take to track.

Has to be teched tomorrow, get sticker and log book,
Friday there are 4 test sessions, 30 mintues each, with
lots of cars likely runny. So quick 10 minutes run and check car,
After all this time, I hope we have no issues or atleast not big ones.

I have only lapped at this track last 9 years, lots of laps over 40+ years
some very fast cars, but racing side by side changes the dynamic
I have lots to learn and some trust to earn and complete my race licence this weekend :)

So goals for this weekend are simple, hopefully run through practise, qualifying and 3 races
stay out of trouble, hopefully no real issues with car, if I am still there and laoding car Sunday afternoon
I will be very happy, lap times or where I finish, is not important. This weekend, finsihing is the goal.

Very cool beong at track today, I was a bit to busy,
but some cool cars and at least vintage Mustang race cars
for vintage race. I promice to get some pics this weekend

Have to ask someone to take pics of my car on track, they frown
upon selfies while racing :)

Slight change of pace.

Anyone looking forward to the F1 movie with Brad Pitt?

I think it starts in theatres June 27.

I think it’s worth catching. F1 cooperated in the making of the thing and cameos of the real drivers in there.

The drivers were all in NYC last night for the premiere.
