At the all start break, Montreal is 10 points out of wildcard.
they have to jump 4 teams, 3 of which have games in hand
and this is for the last spot. Also being closely followed by 2 teams
12 in division and 24 th in the league.
Can they make the playoffs, sure its been done before.
Is it realistic, No, not even a little bit.
This is the time for Geoff Molson to take action.
Fire MB, put new GM in place so whoever that is has a chance, to make trades
and draft accordingly for the future.
We have either barley made or missed playoffs now far too long.
Not many players I don't like on this team, but they have proven in
their current version, not good enough. So do you wish to like all these guys or win?
Make the trades possible to have a competitive team, for now and the future.
I believe Montreal has some great pieces and don't believe they have to totally blow it up.
But some serious moves and maybe some of the favourite players need to go.
Do it and do it now, I hate missing the playoffs, but in a very tough NHL
you need to build for long season and tough playoffs, it's time.
do it rights.
PS Geoff Molson won't fire MB so as fans unless MB gets lucky we
are so screwed. my biggest fear is he could make it worse.
