Game one is Monday in Vegas. Golden Knights making Finals in their First Year, Outstanding. And the Washington Capitals making the Finals for the first time in close to 20 years.

I'm pulling for Alex Ovetchkin and the Capitals, but wouldn't be disappointed if the Golden Knights Win. Now that would make a Great Movie.

They definitely take some of the Financial Burden off of the rest of the Profitable Teams when it comes to Income Sharing (Subsidizing Teams like the Panthers and Coyote's).

beginning of season. they say if Vegas wins

The Old Girl and I are going to be in Vegas on the 30th celebrating 32 years of not killing each other. Tickets for the game that sold out before I could get any, I wonder what the street price is in Vegas for a couple ?

I guy at work was there for Game three of the last series. He paid 380 US for nose bleed seats. Lower bowl was 800 US. He went to the game and bought the 380US tickets . On Friday game 4 he and his wife were going to try to go again, they were sold out. So I guess you don't need to worry about going. Scalpper ticket would be just that!!

Watched the first 2 periods of game one last night. Was 3-3 after 2 and Vegas went on to win 6-4. Game 2 Wednesday.

Team that wins game one of Stanley Cup Finals have a 78% chance of winning the Cup. Washington isn't done yet. They came back after losing first 2 in their Series with Lightning.

Funny, half way through season, folks said Vegas won't keep it up,
they won't make playoffs, they did.
Won't win first round they did,
won't win 2nd round, they did.
no way they will win conference final, they did.

then all of a sudden in finals, they are going to win
Now not so much, funny how it works.

Do or Die Thursday for them, hopefully Capitals take it Thursday.

they have been good games and fun to watch.
Time on TV makes it hard to watch much of it.
I am indifferent to who really wins, both
have compelling stories that make winning the CUP
Cool. Vegas for all the reasons they shouldn't be there and
the Caps with Ovie playing like a real leader and a team all in.

Either way its a good final.

Agree with Trevor completely. Before start of final I was pulling for Fleury.
Now, TJ OSHIE is real revelation for me. I never paid attention to Caps much before.
Ovie always lost to Syd. Same story several years.
But you can really tell the Caps are all in, playing for each-other, no selfish behavior on the ice.
Ovie does deserve to have his name on the Cup.
Good for the sport and the league no matter which team wins.
Good entertainment. Good sportsmanship.
