2018 Ford Mustang Pro Stock

Crazy busy day, Al finsiehd body on car, while I checked, nuts, bolts, wired tied a dozen things,
tow hooks and mirror installed, dozens of other small things, took outside started again,
moved in 1st gear, brakes stopped car, clutch is some touchy, loaded on trailer,
off to another shop, to be squared up and set up suspension, shpringss, toe in, caster camber etc.
Hopefully all goes well. Got home with supper at 7

Well get it to Mikes for set up, get in air and being told
wrong shocks on back  7" should be 9", ( not my falut was not invloved with that decision ) :ROFLMAO:
back left side is off by 2" easiest way to fix is spacer on one wheel
to make square, different offset wheel would work, we have 5"
make that one 3" spacer is fastest and easiest so its ordered along with 2 new shocks
if lucky tuesday, in mean time rest of car can be set up. So another delay on a week
we have no time for delays lol. See how week goes.

Make school and maybe first race with fingers crossed. 🤞

Good news bad news, so start with bad and move on.

Al last minute bailed from this project, gave me notice via meseenger last night at 9:30
I should have known better, but here I am with a race car 96% ready with only 2 of us doing 90%
of work and planned on shared driving, Cars like this normally have 3-4 guys helping and in many cases more.
Now its me and odd person helping, with rest of build and not sure how I am sorting out race day activites yet.

That said, Guy doing set up is working to finish car to be track ready, hopefully sorted and race ready.
Some other things can wait til August or off season.

I went to class room session for race school tonight,
with some on track stuff in morning in street car, I can get half this done tomorrow, and finish rest before
next race in 3 weeks, I hope

On the search for some help, hopefully that goes well, time will tell and I will adjust best I can,
but current plan is to go ahead and try and do some racing this summer. 😁

Last night was fun, and today even more fun.
Even though race car is not ready, I did do the school parts I could without race car.
So class room last night and some track stuff today, track walk,
in street car with instructor, went his very highly tuned BMW for several laps,
then I used Glass shop Maverick for other on track stuff, learned a lot fo new things and had
some great fun.

On way home Spoke to Mike Mackenzie, car is in his shop, set up done, building air box
found few other issues, I thought were good, throttle cable, really should be linkage on this was done wrong
and only had half throttle so that will get sorted, few other small things, so adjustments on rear brakes,
but if nothing else, should have car back by Wednesday, then will be gone for wrap while I am in New hampshire, :)

If all is right, complete next section of race school in race Friday before next Sundays race, 3 weeks, from today. 🤞 😁
putting word out for some help, but I am going forward and do best I can and if all is well, heave some fun.
Lot to learn before being fast, and hopefully car has no issues first weekend :)

Anyone that every thought about checking out this race track June 21-22 is the weekend to do it.
First national series will be happening on this weekend along with local racers.
I will find more details and share here if anyone is interested, if rumors are true 50-60 cars coming from
all over country for this race weekend, will be busy, but very cool.

Wishing you the best of luck on getting the car sorted out. I am not near as knowledgeable as many of the members on here, but as someone else said, I wish I was closer, so I could do something to assist you in this endeavour. Please keep us posted about the progress, and the tentative race debut.
