So after a quick fun debut to ask folks what car is, I will give you some details.
2018 Hemke Chassis Pro Stock car, it was made for Ovals, offset chassis versus perimeter chassis.
These cars are for the most part all the same, except nose and engine and maybe few small details.
in Other words not hard to make it any manufacture you want.

This car was built to follow the pro stock tour in Maritimes and was built for its rules..
So major different is I am going road racing, so few things to change, and outside of safety there are no rules :)
98% of racing " unless spec series" is now bracket racing, so rules done't apply, build your car faster it goes further up
you go in class, In Canada thats GT 1, and likely where this will end up, might be GT2 first summer, but it will be GT 1
Before i am done :)

Car is very solid, with tons of spares, some useful some, not much good to me.
I will post a few pic's and write more to follow and then over winter you can follow the transformation
from Oval car in its current form to Road racing car.

First thing I need to do, is fine time to clean the shop,
Once I put the Mustang away I have the whole shop to dig into this thing,
there are tons of spares and lots to change,

this thing had 400 lbs of balast that needs to go, 2 speed transmission
needs to go, have 3 spare 4 speeds made for road racing and about 12 sets of gears,
One richmond and 2 Muncie transmissions,

fuel cell is good and brand new crate engine, will need to change oil pan, oval set up not good enough for road racing, needs to be bigger.
Crazy stagger set up, and light wieght shocks need to be changed, brakes look good might upgrade rotors and pads to full race current four corner 2 pot wilwoods all around, Front spindles need to be changed, shockes are around 250 lbs fronts and 150 rears
we want 800lb fronts and 400 lb rears, also the use diffetne size shocks and lenghts on each side, so going to sqaure set up
will be part of process.
Need new seat, likely get new rad, this one doesn't leak but looks tired, will become spare.
This is carborated with New MSD ignition, so old school and much simpler to sort and if problems find it.

has two bodies one tin one fibre glass, likely go with fibre glass as it looks and fits better.
6 sets of spare wheels have to go through and see what is good and or not.
I will need 3 sets of tires for this, 2 dry sets of slicks and one set of rain tires,

covered far bit I think, research being done now, likely be in air 1-2 weeks and let the games begin.

I'm envious of your new project..It must be exciting. (y)
You mean you need heavier springs I gather, not the shocks?
Are the current shocks adjustable and in good condition, if so, can you still use them?

5 point harness still ok date wise? I see Simpson ones come up for sale at pretty good prices on the Cobra builder forums from time to time. I can keep my eye out if you may need a new one.

springs are to soft, shocks are differnet sizes, even different return rates,
we even have spares of these but nothing matching. QA1 duble adjustables and few singles adjustables.
but not set up for us, eaiser to buy and build, than rebuild these,

Up side is I have a buyer for most of the stuff we don't need, stock car community is strong and I know a bunch of them
2 speed transmission is already sold, when we take it out of car, so money for the kitty going forward, all will help,
going to be a bit of expensive winter, but big costs come next fall, I want a new engine :)

I will need new belts, but have a really good line on those. Race tires are bit of a challenge, I can get them
but love to find better pricing and maybe supplier. Putting together supplier list now and lots of research
for now and future stuff. Be spending money soon lol

Guess I should have read your comment a bit more carefully, as I see now that you mention the shocks also need to be replaced
The oval track suspension set up is so totally different. ..Springs and shocks must be different not only front to back, but also sides to side. Look at the difference in the spring sizes alone

What kind is the two speed tranny? Jerico, or Lenco race tranny, maybe a two speed TH400? I wouldn't imagine they would use a Powerglide for oval racing do they?
so found out today, it was a 4 speed Muncie, with kit to make it a 2 speed,
which basically made it work like the old Borg Warner T10
which back in the day were was the way to go,
Apparently the vintage circle track guys will want this when advertized,
obviously its no good to me, If it were a Jerico I would have guys calling me wanting, oh that olready happened lol

Springs a shocks are differnet side to side, also wheels are different side to side,
A arms measure different, found out today spindels are differet size on each side,
so once in air, with wheels off we can measure and see if any of it is any good,
but I suspect most if not all of the front suspension will be changed. Like rear shocks / springs as well
along with solid rear axels, breaking and axle on a road course normally does not end well lol.
