GTD at the Nurburgring.

Just watched the brief highlights on YT. LOOKS LIKE A GOOD RACE. Shame Verstappen took out Piastri at the start. Great drives from Leclerc and Hamilton.

I’m in no rush either Charlie.

I’m not his biggest fan, but feel sorry for Lewis, such a freak occurrence with the bollard. Last race of the season.

I’m wondering whether they will set him loose!

My gut feel says Perez and Bottas are done, results have been too lacklustre for too long. As for Hamilton, we will see if he has still got it and the move to Ferrari rekindles the spark…….

Should be an interesting last race as you say. Let’s hope Hamilton doesn’t just give up on Mercedes and does come out fighting.

Bottom line, it’s a major safety infringement, there could be people on the track, so they have to make drivers take notice that this is a serious offence. I used to be a track side marshall, so that is one aspect where you rely on drivers for your safety.

Yeah it was a weird race, not one of my fave tracks, too flat and not enough overtaking opps. Lots of safety cars etc to spice things up, could have been closer if Norris hadn’t screwed up under the yellows.
