13th annual Coastal Cruise, Brunswick & Wintersport Maine.

Yep, if we could get a few cars from PEI /NS and meet in Moncton then on to St. John, or whatever. Ok we'll see how it all unfolds.

I'm interested. Are there plans to meet and all go down together? What is the itinerary. How many days, accommodations etc.

Just the tip of the iceberg.

Very good points. They are putting the car before the horse (pardon the pun). You have to eliminate dirty electricity first. I think on a large industrial scale, nuclear is the only option. Then you find a green way to mine and process lithium and cobalt. Then and only then, can you call an...

    Electric Vehicles

"Some people I know who recently purchased Tesla products were bragging what their 5 year operating costs would be, only quoting what their estimated electricity costs would be." Even if their 5 year operating costs were zero, the upfront cost of purchase is so high, they will never see a...

    Electric Vehicles

66% of worldwide electricity is generated from coal, oil and natural gas. 25% of CO2 emissions worldwide come from dirty electricity. Maybe they should work on that first.

    Electric Vehicles

This is a massive train wreck coming right at us. If they follow through on their elimination of ICEs in 17 years, it will be a catastrophe.

    Electric Vehicles

Over the past few years I have been following the progession of EVs. Last year I was convinced this was the way of the future. The more I read, and the more information I got, the more skeptical I have become. For those who have any interest, watch this video to the end, it's not long. I...

    What Is Happening?

I actually think it isn't cyclical but it's an evolution. If you look at cars over the past fifty years, we have evolved, and in some cases that evolution involves the elimination of certain cars and car brands. If you don't stay current or futuristic you will die. I'm not saying I like it...

    What Is Happening?

Just googled it. Japanese domestic market. Well, if you go back to my craft beer rant, maybe there's a connection? The guys and gals who like craft beer would rather buy the Subaru BRZ? Are we a dieing breed of people who like commercial beers and the original muscle car?

    What Is Happening?

One other observation. Before covid, Mustang sales dropped 40% between 2015 - 19. To connect this to the 2024 Mustang, maybe they need all the high tech features and modern styling to attract the 20 - 45 year old consumer. In any case Ford, GM and Dodge look to be in trouble in this sector...

    What Is Happening?

I expect Covid / short supply of cars has had a big impact. Mustangs have taken a huge hit. I would guess that disposable income / higher prices are also to blame.
