I think that is the usual case. People hang on till the end hoping their initial bid will remain till it closes. The trick is not to get carried away and overbid just to get satisfaction.. I tell myself that if it gets higher than I wanted to bid, it wasn't meant for me, and another will...

I rarely use my Cell phone for anything other than to call someone. Its turned on just before I make the call, and then immediately turned off after I've finished. But using it for this purpose makes total sense..(y):)
