2018 Ford Mustang Pro Stock

Not as good of race wekend and as last time out, but
still a fun day, new guy went off in 4 hit some bottle bags
and tire barrier, only broke a few body braces.

We had three bolts brake in the duel brack that goes above and around the back of rear end.
this is not good, as pan hard bar and drive shaft only thing left holding it there
so racing was done for day, but did some good laps
Quailfed 4 th races, never got to see how I would do
My guess today was 4th based on what was in front of me

Should be or hopefully easy fix, will check everything
on back suspension, only one race left, 3 hour enduro
October 6th

Rear end is fixed and also problem resovled in what cuased it, so that should not happen again.
Also added a new filter system to dry sump oil system, takes 5 minutes to check oil,
on these engines wise to do on weekend,
Car is all set for next weekends 3 hour endurance race.

Everything is ready and loaded for tomorrow
weather looks great, shouldn't melt either.

This is the last weekend of the Year.
Today is the Bikes, running the Jack and Mac
99 mile race. in honor of two of the founders
of Atlantic Motorsport park

Tomoorw is th JCM ( Jack Canfield memorial )
3 hour endruance race) neither are points races.

Also they have announced last minute extra mandatory pitstops
for faster cars, so might make it interesting at end.

Considering the year we have had, It will be great for us to complete the race
Also 2 rookie drivers, so running clean and trouble free will be the main goal

Great day, we finsihed the 3 hour endurance race and managed
a top 3 podium finsh, more to follow.

On the podium...... congratulations Trevor !! Thats got to be pretty satisfying with all the time and work invested, well done !!

Another long day, but I will add some more along with some pics
once I get caught up.

After all that has happened from this time last year till now.
there were some tough days and moments.
It has been an incredible journey, with the last race day
giving me an incredible feeling of accomplishment and
rewarding the hard work and time to get here.

So I want to thank everyone who helped,
This never would have happened without them.
some you may know, some you may not,
I really hope I don't miss anyone

This is some what unfiinshed business form 40+ years ago
and I plan to continue next year, so in a few weeks
the works starts on car to update and fix some stuff that never did get done,
Check everything that needs to be checked, few up grades coming
and hopefully a complete wrap of car with long long before race season begins.

I will keep this thread up to date as we continue along this path.
and I will post some pictures bill toook and more later when
Colin ( track Photographer) releases his stuff.
