Both suggestions so far are good.
However, Fredericton up to Perth and back down in same day, with the size of our group and the stops we incorporate, would be a long day.
Some parts of 105 are a bit rough.
It’s nothing like roads we saw in NS.

I would suggest doing in other direction and a bit shorter from Grand Falls down to Plaster Rock, then Perth along Tobique river and onto Woodstock for lunch. Then back up.
Down one side of river and up the other.
Florenceville, Hartland and Perth all provide way points for stops.
Covered bridge in Hartland, etc.
Hilltop motel in Grand Falls has all drive up rooms plus restaurant on site. View of dam and Falls from restaurant.
Easy walking distance to Falls tourist center just down the hill.
Or Daigle’s motel in St-Leonard also has restaurant on site, drive up rooms and conference room.
I could secure accommodations, host, help plan route and lead.
I know this area very well except 105 Florenceville to Woodstock (Section I suspect of being rough as very little traffic through there), and Downtown Woodstock.
From Florenceville to Woodstock, road would be better if use 130 in both directions.

Acadian tour, why not do it from Bathurst instead of Miramichi?

Another option would be to start in Campbellton, across to Carleton, Que., onto Parc de la Gaspesie (Mont Albert) along the Cascapedia river. Beautiful scenic route along a salmon river into the Appalachian mountains.
Route went through there in the dark several years ago.
Those who were there didn’t see what they missed.
Then a part of coast on other side and back to Campbellton through Amqui and the Matapedia valley.
Shorter then last Gaspe run and can be done in one day.
What do you think Roger?
We could scout, plan, host and lead that run?

Quebec border may still be closed the way things are going.

All the routes sound very good ones. Two years ago we went all the way up to miscou island, also nice views around there.

that's what was in my mind as well. Incorporating from Marc's post above, get out of bathurst, down on the coast to Caraquet, then Shippagan, Lameque, up to Miscou Lighthouse. To not do 100% the same route back to Bathurst for supper time tho we could go through Ste-Rose, Paquetville, Notre-Dame-Des-Erables, then back to Bathurst.

Lot's of things I would have to think about regarding the setup of the route itself, depending where we'll end up for the supper and where the sleeping accomodations would be. But I agree with Marc, Better route from Bathurst to Péninsule Acadienne than it is from Miramichi ....

I was just thinking of a run we did earlier this summer left here went trough Mirimichi and then on to Bathurst for the evening. But I am not from up there so you guys would be the ones to know how a route like that could be laid out that's for sure. That's why we en list some local guides. Lol. They always show us the hidden gems which is awesome.

The Quebec part of what Marc suggested is a very nice run, scenery in the Park is very nice and last time we did it unfortunately was in the dark so we could not really take it all in. But I really think that the way things are going it will be closed up due to the Covid thing ?? We would have to wait and evaluate closer to the date.

All the other stuff sound good to me and yes Marc if you need a hand to set things up I am ready to go !! I don't plan on missing next year's run hopefully.

I know this is just the suggesting stage, but keep in mind we will vote on this in week or two.
then something will be decided. Once decided, Gerry will put together run with hopefully help from those who
knows the areas> Gerry has been doing this for quite awhile, knows what we need and with covid knows the possible
extras. If a run is chosen that can't be done because of covid, this gets cancelled not moved, takes far to much time to plan,
to put in quickly.

Jen spent 3 + weeks finding us a place to eat supper. Just an example.
Run, hotels, restaurants alll have to be arranged, bigger the town we land in at lunch and supper
at this point the better. With 30-40 cars, we travel the distance that one car would do it in about 3 x's that time
1 hour = 3 approximately.

Just a few things to consider when suggesting routes.
