Its the time of year to discuss next years fall run.
Now is your opertunity to have a say in what we might do next year.

If you have an idea or an area of the Island you would like us to try and run, give us a basic suggestion.
or any other thoughts you have on the run itself.
Out format is pretty much figured out after years of doing this and going through covid changeda few small things.
But overall we have it sorted, that siad always open to new ideas.

Hopefully after a few weeks, we will post up a couple options to vote on :)

As much as a Ho run sounds like fun, I suspect weastern PEI would not be best place to do that

My idea for a Run ( as to this point no run suggestions)
I think Start out of Summerside. Head west toward Cape Egmont Light house,
at some point cut through Western section heading towards Kensington For lunch
then head towards Mapleque Bay, along coast til time to head back and again cut through where it makes since
and back to summerside for the night.

Now the problme with western end of Island, not many great stops for coffee and lunch,
other wise we could head northwest and spend the day heading to Tignish and back,
now if everyone planned to bring a lunch, coffee etc then very possible and I think great sights.

The reason we headed east last few years, is because running out of Charlottetown was easier,
also more hotels and restaurants and ( Aaron having a few connections didn't hurt)
But running on western end would be cool.

What ya'll think?

Also anyon ehave specific area they would like to try?

Places to eat/ Washrooms are the challange for the West side of the island in late September for sure

Another option might be to use Mill river resort as the base friday and saturday nights .- on Saturday AM run clockwise up the west side through Campbellton - Skinners pond and up to the windmill site - would need to bring your snack for there - then back along the coast through Alberton and use mill river for the lunch stop?, Leave after lunch and travel to Portage - Port Hill ,Miscouche , and follow the coast to west point to our night / supper at Mill river.
About 4 hr drive time 3 hrs for stops and lunch 8:30 leave back before 5

All depends of if mill river wants to make us a deal

Sounds a good possibility for something a little different.

Trevor’s idea also sounds good.

Gerry, I know you mention the washroom situation at that time of the year, are you aware of any washroom breaks along the route to the windmills. I am not familiar with that area.
