What did you do to your mustang today

I'm not whoring for Sonax, but I would think most of us who take some interest in detailing our vehicles would be on the lookout for new products to help with the job, and if you like a companies product, you'll likely try other offerings they have.

I was online buying another 5 litre jug of brake dust/wheel cleaner ( !!! ) when I spotted this wheel and tire detailer , so I thought I'd give it ago.

Puzzles me how you could have a combined tire and wheel detailer, but like any other detailing products, I'm willing to give it a go at least once.

Easy to apply and wipe off, I'm partial to the matte finish, like that.

Pretty subtle difference.

Its ok to whore yourself out, But I hope your atleast getting some free Sonax out of it :p

Between the yard and house projects I took time to clean the roof on the Mustang and got enough sun to dry the 2 coats of protectant-that’s all the can allowed! It’s been a couple of years -I try to get it done every year but time just goes away. Tonight made only the 2nd fuel stop for the year - been a slow year so far.

Finally got her home last week.
Next day took the car over to a buddy's place where we are taking it apart and re-painting the aftermarket body kit that was installed about 20 years ago. Some parts had rock chips and other parts the clear finish had just peeled off, so time for a refresh.
Once apart we discovered that for a 2005 car the hidden stuff is still just like new, so bonus as no other touch ups or fixing is needed.
Now will be all set for another 20 years of Mustang rides.............. :D

Yeah for the year that paint still is in great shape, must have been done mid week and not on a Monday or Friday . lol
New roof in '23 and wheels last year so hope I'm good for awhile now ?? lol
That Mustang bug can be costly at times but hey it brings lots of smiles per miles................... :D

Well if you ever get thinking of more, let us know
we love helping people spend thier money :ROFLMAO:

Gonna start tracking it?

Did you test fit one of your old rear wheels to check the fit first?

I’d like to see pictures of that when you're done.
I was surprised when I put the rears on the front, there was no rubbing. The back is squirrely with the 255s on there. After racing for 10 years, I know I can't trust myself to not ball it up. I post some pics of them. Should be on the car today.

Good thing I'm not buying diecast..... finally got in for the yearly oil change, took almost three weeks before there was an opening.

$65 for a Ford Performance filter, and $14 / L x 10 litres adds up quick, good news though...labour was only $40 . :D

I know, I know ....... first world problems.
