Imagine the day will come where we will see NASCAR E racing. Fords getting ready with their new Mustang.

That Mach E is more and more in the spotlight of journalists lately and most of them are impressed with what Ford has done with it and the direction they are taking..................................but but all of the ones I have seen just cannot believe that Ford associated that car with the Mustang name !!

This is the direction we are heading and just imagine that in not that much of a future our grandkids will be bragging in school on how big there dad's battery is in the family car, just like we did with the 350 cid's and 460's etc etc...................lol
 
I’n not too hung up on association to Mustang name.
My theory is that Ford painted themselves into that corner when they announced no more “cars” except Mustang.
I’m thinking they didn’t want to announce a new “car” right after the initial statement.

I could be entirely wrong but it helps me get through the day. ?

I can't like and won't like anything about it.
I have swore I will never buy a
4 door, suv mustang.

So if the day comes I will even consider electric,
I would not buy this, because of what Ford did
by naming it Mustang, sorry but it offends me
the exes at Ford have so little respect the the
history and heritage of the Mustang name.

I am sure my lack of interest makes no difference to Ford
but one less customer if and when that time comes.
with any luck, by the time electric is all you can buy
I will be dead, so won't be an issue :)
 
Agree that whine is enough to drive you nuts.

Btw, small claim to fail, I have been in a Mustang with Vaugh Gittin Jr while he was doing donuts and drifting it around a course. It’s pretty scary, but great fun I can tell you.
 
To be clear, I just remarked on the name choice.
I’m no fan of electric either and don’t plan to buy.
Whine noise is annoying, I agree.
I think electric is hypocrisy these days and until grid is all green and infrastructure in place.
We’ve all seen the pics of Teslas being charged by gas or diesel generators.
Not a fan of 4 door or hatch Mustang either.

I’m sure the ride with Gittin Jr. would leave an impression. ?
