Get your car up

I use ramps I built from wood.. Built them to drive the car up on to blocks. Quicker than jacking and no marks on the rails from jacks. I 'll post a picture when I can get on Photo bucket.

OH2BBAD has used them but seems to be wanting an upgrade. His ideas have not made it to the drawing board yet.

Yes the way it is now, with four blocks an two ramps. But if you look closely at the drawing , my intention was to build a bridge between the front and rear blocks, but that has not happened yet.
My car is easy to jack the rear. some cars it's not so easy.

A fellow Cobra builder designed this slick system for working on his car. You can remove the side bridges once the cars up, so you can slip under on a creeper, to work on things.

The fellow that built that ramp for his Cobra, has given some build instructions, and wood sizes, etc. If anyone wants the info, I could copy and paste what he has posted about it. Just let me know.

That would be interesting to see. There is some interest in a good design.
