Found it! I had been lead down the garden path from information someone posted in another Mustang forum that said the cars built for the US market and the CDN market used the same wiring harness, so all you had to do was to add the DRL module. I assumed that was what was done to my US car. After...
Thanks for the image. I have a better idea of what I am looking for. The diagram helps as well. I did spend a lot of time this afternoon on my back looking under there and did not see it though. Maybe luckier tomorrow! My concern is my car is a US build but it had the DRL working until...
Lookin' for help finding my DRL module. Daytime running lights quit working last week. Checked the fuse and it is goo so I am assuming it is the relay module that gave up. After spending the afternoon on either on my back or under the hood looking for the DRL I had no luck finding it! :( I am...
Hi Aaron! What time should the western cars be at the Info Centre parking lot at Borden Carlton to leave with the cars coming from Cornwall? Will there be any delays leaving the Island via the bridge? I can post details on the PEI Mustang Facebook page when you let me know. Looks like I will...
Thanks, everyone for replying! This is what I love about the Forum...lots of people willing to give advice. I have shared this with my friend (who is actually in Manitoba). I think there are lots of good things in the conversation for him to consider in his deliberations on what to buy himself...
I had a friend ask me for my thoughts on what year of Shelby he should consider buying. I have not investigated Shelbys so I am hoping others can provide me some feedback to share. Are there particular years to avoid or particular ones to look for? He is thinking a 2016 right now.
Aaron; Could I suggest that cars from western PEI meet cars from farther east at the Information Centre parking lot at the bridge? If that is okay then I will post to the PEI Mustang facebook page.
Well I got her done! Used Ford Performance B-springs. Got a 1 inch drop all around which is what I wanted. Ride is a little stiffer but not as bad as i thought might happen. Actually feels better driving overall. Much tighter and more precise particularly on corners. Got a few "ghosts in the...
I did quite a bit of looking around for over a year.. First I did not want a larger drop like many other brands give. These Ford Performance-B springs (1 1/8" drop front and 3/4" rear drop) do that. Didn't want to be too low for the roads around here and to have to be worrying all the time about...
Thanks everyone for the feedback! Sounds like other than a little stiffer ride the process should turn out making my car more enjoyable to drive! I am going with new Ford Performance-B lowering springs (1 1/8" drop front and 3/4" rear drops) and caster/camber plates for now. The shocks were...
I have pretty much decided to do a modest lowering of my '02 Mustang GT Convertible using Ford Performance-B lowering springs. I am not racing or tracking the car obviously so want better road handling in regular driving. I am just wondering if others who have lowered their 99-04 Mustangs can...
Hope everyone is doing okay and if stuck at home you are not getting too bored or crazy! Good opportunity to work on our cars if they are not still in storage like mine is! Hoping to get it out soon! Will be awhile before this can happen!
