Wow, that looks like a working work shop. A buddy of mine just built his new house with parking for 12 cars. Parking inside that is.

I am using Michelin Pilot Super Sports. When they were new they stuck pretty good. Now with age they get a little squeal under protest. There are two major issues to resolve, price point and what you generally drive like as far as performance. The debate on tires could go on for ever.

In the early days I saw some pics of mangled brackets, so I went the welded route. I believe that's been sorted. Buy them from a reputable supplier like BMR, or MM and you will be fine.

I will go with 1968, Cruise o matic. My neighbor bought one when I was in high school. I can remember the logo. He was not a car guy. It was a beautiful overhauled car, but drove it through the winter. Shame really.
