I am in Quebec pretty well every week lol. It might sound loud in the video but that was the first cold start . It will dull down a little with some miles.

So here are a few pictures so far headers are done, full 3” AWE touring Catback is installed. Just have to reposition things so I can see how much clearance I need for the chassis braces. Gotta say first cold start sounds pretty good!!

I would say they are the best money I have spent . It’s really surprising how much sturdier than jackstands they are. And so much quicker than a normal jack.

Day 3 was a short day , just a couple hours puttering around. Had to extend one of the O2 sensor harnesses but the other 3 were fine. Top end is all back together. Cats are on and connected. No extra bolts or nuts left so that’s a bonus. Fired her up to move it so I could change the wife’s oil...

Day 2 in the books. about 14 is hours so far. Passenger side is a biatch learned a few new cuss words there. Driver side was better. Glad I took the battery compartment out as well as the cowl brace makes the back bolts on the passenger side much easier. The worst part was the top bolt on the...

    My project

So I bought my quickjacks to make life easier. So far so good. Doing long tube headers and a full 3" AWE catback on the "vert. Brought it out of storage today, set it up on the quick jacks lots of room for my fat arse even with a creeper. Roughly 5 hours in battery box and intake are out,and the...

    QuickJack 7000TL 3

I would think the cost alone of adding a tube of thread sealant to every kit, and people not doing it correctly would be a good reason just to do it pre assembled. Although I did want so garage time yesterday but un boxing it was still fun lol.

Did all your hoses and fittings come pre installed? I just opened mine today and everything is ready to go , all I had to do was put the short hoses on the cylinders. Still have to fill it and bleed it, but that is an excuse to go to CT tomorrow lol.

15-22 Ford Performance adjustable strut mounts

Yes I had heard he had issues, but I thought that was from his Kooks headers which also hang a little lower than most.

15-22 Ford Performance adjustable strut mounts

Ahh ok gotcha. I have been eyeing Steeda progressives, you can out them in a full kit with camber plates, shocks, struts.....etc. Just not 100% if I want to drop just over an inch given our lovely roads lol

    3" catback on a Vert

Just curious has anyone jammed a full 3" catback on an S550 convertible? I have a plan to do mine this spring, just wondering if anyone has tried it and maybe has a few pointers lol. The braces look like a SOB to get the pipes around. There used to be a spacer kit offered by Parker Performance...
