2026 Fall Run – Prince Edward Island Edition Saturday, September 19, 2026

Well following a string of costly mishaps we had to take the sad decision to cancel this years run and take a raincheck until next year I guess.
So enjoy folks and hope to see you all next year.

I did not cancel the hotel reservations yet, so if someone needs a room just reach out to me and I'll try and switch the names or even one of the organizers may be able to do so as well.
 
Sorry so late getting back to you, just got home from Newfoundland - 19 days on the rock.

Paul & Denise will have Mussels to start
1- baked Haddock with roasted potatoes
1 - Southern Pair with roasted Potatoes

1 - Lobster Roll with Fries
1 - Good Ole Burger with Fries
 
A couple of items that are coming together nicely for the run

We have a Start Point location !
•Meet for the run at the PEI Gov’t Garage in Slemon Park.
•PE Highway Depot, 50 Cannon Dr, Summerside, PE C0B 2A0

We will be leaving this location at 8:30 AM heading toward Miscouche then on the #12

As we are heading north washrooms are limited as are coffee spots

To Help with the morning coffee needs We have had a Local Fire Dept , Tyne Valley agree to host us for our Morning stop
They will have Tea-Coffee and snacks - Please Bring some cash to make life easier !

Provincial parks are still open for washrooms but have limited parking

Lunch options are limited
At Bloomfield Corner we have a Foodland with snacks- Greco Pizza- Capt .Submarine and two Tim Hortons locations within 7 minutes
If none of these fit your needs please plan to bring a lunch.

The longest drive section will be about 1 hr 10 minutes

I'm still working on the route books I'll try to get them to Trevor to have at the hotel as I'll be late Friday night
 
Hello everyone,

We are a bit over a week away. Long range forecast looks promising. That being said it is a rain or shine event and our weather definitely can be un predictable. Unless we have a huge weather event beyond our control it will be happening. Since I was asked the question last evening I will post the hotels cancelation policy once again.

Everyone needs to make their own decision.

Unlike our previous events, the hotel has a strict 7-day cancellation policy for our group booking.

If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, you must do so by Friday, September 11, 2026. Any cancellations made after September 11 may result in you being charged for your room.

Please keep this in mind when making your reservation
