Did that Tail of the Dragon trail, twice!
If, and when you do decide to do the trip, and you have a passenger, make sure that you have him/her take some Gravol along......he/she will need it. I talk from experience lol.
The "Tree of Shame" on the North side of the mountain by the tourist shops is something to see, where they hang car or motorcycle parts of the vehicles that did not make it out unscathed.......steering wheels, hub caps, trim rings, helmets, mirrors, fiberglass pieces, plastic pieces, you name it, it's on/in there.
