Thought of the day.

Hit 110 000kms on the dot tonight. No driving this weekend with the rain coming.

When I was in school we lived in a rural area with a party line.
Don’t have to go back to those older phones.
1969 had Crank phone on the wall
party line with three on it, funny you had to check before making a call no one else was using phone,
Trying to remember the distant ring ours was to others, I think 2 shorts 3 long lol

Damn now its showing our age. I am 12 really :p

Back in the late 50's early 60's, our Vancouver family home phone was on a party line for a short time, so it wasn't just for rural areas.
My Grandparents, on the other hand living on the rural area of the Sunshine Coast, had an old crank style phone where the number of rings would indicate which homes on the party line the call was destined for. They had a party line for many more years.

I looked up "irony" in the dictionary and saw this picture....using AI to talk about "real" cars.

I've always wanted a G77 5J00.

I thought about adding the same disclaimer as I did in the Fred’s funny pages thread.
But then I thought once in one thread should be enough.
People on this forum smart enough to make the connection.
Oh well…! Guess not.
