Remember This Car at Barrett Jackson??

Something interesting popped up on my Facebook feed this morning. One of the groups I follow posted an Ebay listing for a 1993 all white LX convertible. Sound familiar? It should to most that watched Dennis Collins collection go across the block at Barrett Jackson. Well guess who has it on Ebay? Richard Rawlings from Gas Monkey Garage. For those that don't follow the Fast & Loud show these two guys are best buds. So the question is how did Rawlings end up with Collins convertible? Was this all part of a scam at Barrett Jackson to put Collins on the car map or did someone back out and now Rawlings is helping him out???? Interesting to say the least. Here are the two links below showing you what I'm talking about.

Good question. Maybe Rawling was bidding on it, to help drive up the price for his buddy, and the bids suddenly stalled, and he got stuck with it? I could picture that happening..

If that was the case, it looks good on him !, That car with reasonable mileage would be worth $10,000. With the low mileage no more than $15,000 for the right buyer.

The word around is that this is falsely driving up the prices for these cars. So those buying right now thinking that the prices will go even higher later on are gonna get shafted and lose when they sell. I guess it's all a gamble in the end but this isn't really a good thing in the Mustang world.....or so,it appears ;)
