New Hampshire run, June 7th, 8th, 9th

June 7th to 9th, Details to follow.

This run Starts Early friday morning from Moncton 7-8am
and Heads into Maine / New Hampshire. Details to follow.

Lots of driving, plenty of cool sights and roads,
for those who need to know this is not a shopping run :)

Leave Moncton Friday morning early, heading down through Calais
to Hotel southern Maine or New Hampshire, with lots of driving
through some cool areas and roads Saturday, heading back / home Sunday.
Lots of miles and smiles.

For those heading up to Moncton Thursday night, I’ve got a line on rooms available (double queen- drive up rooms ) at the Amsterdam Moncton for Thursday night June 6th
Let me know if you want a room - available to share a room

So far I’m booking rooms for
Trevor
Gerry -Brian

Also - Let me know if you are going to be there before 8 pm so I can set up check in
I hope to be on the road earlier but who knows , that’s still a month away .

thanks to you Glenn for doing the Leg work on this,
left to me as busy as I am, we would have been sleeping on park benches LOL\\

sent PM about $ for rooms,

we do have one open spot / Bed if another car and or person wishes to jion the run,
otherwise those signed up are now committed to run and costs.

Gerry will add some basic details of run soon, but its a bit free wheelin and
subject to change as we go,

remember what happens in NH stays in NH 😁

Make sure you have your passport In the passenger compartment of the car when you leave home .

Note : Some of the roads late Friday - Early Saturday may have US $ tolls collect some US coin change as you go

Bring your CAA card for the best rate when you check In


Bring your charged FRS radio for on road chit / chat if you have one
An exchange of current cell numbers is likely as we gather in Quispamsis

I tried to work the stops in around 1.5 hrs driving time. (Some us , no names, may have reduced coffee retention time )

Leave Salisbury Big stop 7 AM June 7
KBStang and Limezilla see you there

Next stop Quispamsis Tims- ESSO -Irving to meet with Mineral Gray
We should be there by 8:10

Next planned stop is Border crossing @ St Stephen, - just long enough to get us all through to USA t
hen to the US#1 and Big stop @end of #9 for gas ,coffee, and a snack
This leg about 2 hrs with the border crossing

Clocks go back an hour , get an extra hour

Run on #9 the around Bangor via 46 and 395 to the 95
A stop somewhere Bangor for a coffee/ stretch not the lunch stop 1.5 hrs

Leaving Bangor area on the 95 south to Freeport area will be about 2hrs then switch to the #1 and other old roads
Maybe a later lunch around Freeport or some beach somewhere
Lots of “ to be decided “ till we get to Portsmouth for the hotel

Route 4/16 to Concord area, stop for coffee out/ in
I think Martin may join us here
Maybe a car wash, some crooked road, a couple of possible routes from Conway with lunch likely in Goreham
Grab some gas when in Goreham , and some snacks here if you need them,
North along route 16 following the River to Errol , the. some high country views as we work one of several routes back to Bangor, likely #4 through Madrid and Farmington, then #2 at Fairfield to the 95 back to Bangor

I’m trying to use different roads from last time
I’m looking forward to a few days of windshield views, hopefully with the top down!

I’m not posting a lot of the finer details as they will change on the fly
