The order banks have opened for the 2018 models of these cars.
Rumours are heavy that 2018 production numbers will be low.
Should be interesting to see. I still don't know 2017 final numbers yet.

And then the question becomes when will the 500 will arrive?? Be fun to watch and see what they do and what kind of numbers they plan on producing.

SO many rumours about the GT500 that nobody really knows.
I expect 2019. latest is many of the goodies the 350 has, with 5.2 cross plane crank engine.
SC with 680 HP. One before that was twin turbo, 740HP either way it will be a world beater.

Being of a corner carving mentality I like the 350 better than raw HP. But have to admit it
is interesting.

Also rumours next gen Mustang is either 2020 or 2022.

I hope the next gen will be 2022 - refresh rate is getting a bit much for me and its only going to make it harder to maintain/mod these cars down the road.

I think 2019 will see the new GT500
another Halo car. With what Ford has producing the last
few years, it should be interesting to say the least.

Hey Phil, you want a GT350 or maybe even an R LOL

I'm thinking a 2018 premium with performance pack would be enough for me vs. a gt350

I'm with You Phil. Back in the late 70s and into th 80s, 460 HP,in the base V8 Mustang was inconceivable.

More than enough for road use.

Phil you do up some fancy logos, you can use it as a right off :)
the 350 is not about HP, the last GT500 was.
the 350 is about all the bits added to make it handle and use the HP.
If you were looking at pure HP you would consider used GT500.

The new Mustang GT with 460 HP should be impressive.

I'm wondering when Ford Canada is going to update their "Build and Price" to include the 2018 Mustang.

Only choice is 2017, yet you can Price out 2018 Flex. :(

I wouldn't do it, do many stories of them blowing up.
for what I want and like about the car 526 is plenty.
Its a little hard to explain, but this is not a typical muscle car.
It builds its power different, but once your over 3500 rpm.
there is no lag at any point, it pulls hard until it runs out of gear.
top speed.
Older muscle cars take for ever to reach top speed. that last 20-30 mph
take for ever, none of that in this car.

Even more, it handles incredible, hard to explain, but if anyone really wants to understand,
come to a track day at AMP and go for a few laps with me :)

In 2018 the magna ride suspension is an option for the GT as well.

So GT Premium + performance pack + magna ride + recaro seats = gets you pretty close to a 350 and still about $10k less?

with most Phil, that would be true. With you know.
You will lower, different wheels and SC.
so add another 25K LOL
