Resonator Delete

I have a 2017 GT that already has the Roush Axle Back. I’m thinking about an H pipe for a resonator delete. I’ve read that there is performance to be gained. But also read that it can rob power. Which one is correct?
Anyone out there that has done a delete ? What are the results ?

I was under impression x pipe created bit of gain in HP.
I am not sure exactly how much if any you will get by deleting resonators.
but I am sure a bit, will be louder for sure.

Thanks, I’m very much on the fence on doing this. Been listening to sound clips, but those don’t help a lot.

In my mind they were installed for a reason.I know it's not legal to take your cats off but many do it.

X pipe usually gives some high rpm power and more raspy sound but with a bit of loss of low - mid range torque . H pipe helps low to mid range torque so is often the factory choice

My car has factory delete over 350 and to my knowledge
sound is the only gain.

I don't know, mine is loud, but I have silence button if I want.
Also mine auto goes into quiet when you put it in 6th gear.
Also factory.

My 08 I had 3 different exhausts on with resonator delete and install Xpipe
It was loud, but only when foot was in it.

All personal preference, but as far as too loud goes, I folded the rear seats forward so the trunk was open to the interior and I could hear it better. lol

As Trevor mentioned, its got the active exhaust "Good Neighbour" valves for early morning commutes, quiets things down, but if you stay off the gas you're probably ok.

Resonator delete has been on my hit list for a while.

Personally I don't need the switch,
it can stay in wake up gates of hell forever.
I love the sound, first thing I do after I start it LOL.

Want slow and quiet buy a camaro lol.
at least then you could what back of Mustangs look like.

Lol I agree, I’m leaning more and more towards a 302 making the patented muscle car sound like no other.
