Road to buidling a 1990 Foxbody LX

Nice interior.
Not much difference between good pro tourer and track car.
Biggest difference probably comfort level for occupants.
it will have some version of a roll bar, race seats or at least decent recaros
likely no back seats and some level of less interior.
it really comes down to how far does one go.

I could build a animal which basically isn't fit to drive more than an hour lol.
no interior, no air, radio nothing but whats required. Be fun, not sure its realistic.
and Ironically like a lot more money. lol.

In our climate, we can live without A/C.
Summers are short.
We don’t have stifling heat.
The warmer it gets, the faster you go with windows down.
With windows down and loud exhaust, you won’t miss the radio.
I like my green car.
My wife would not want to go much farther than Moncton in it though.
Me, I could drive it cross country.
You sure sleep well after a day on the road in it.

before I got the car I dreamed of a nice stock fox body with a few nice upgrades.
Having my Shelby has me wanting a car to modify, I miss doing it and the projects every winter.
So for awhile I dreamed of a full blown race car that was barely street legal.

To be honest I am not 100% sure where I am going yet.
Having a bit of time before I can touch it helps.

I know I am going to strip it, have it soda blasted and epoxy primer buys me some time.
Reality that alone will like eat up the summer, so I have until fall to decide direction of build.

My personal choice would be Pro Touring with a N/A Coyote, A/C and all the Creature Comforts.

You already Track your 350R, no need for two track cars unless you are starting your own Team.
If I build a track car, I would not track the 350.
or maybe both lol. very different experiences on the track
one is very quick and with nannies on, not to hard to drive.

Fox body would be quick and a handful, but a lot of fun :)
