My 05

A couple of issues this week on the 2005. Time and miles/Km’s caught up. I had an over pressure on the A/C as the car was running in the yard this week. Cause was burnt pins on the low speed relay / resulting in no low speed fan - high speed only came on when engine got hotter.

I replaced the contacts on the relays ( one of the burnt/overheated ones shown above) and the modified the system so the original low and high speed fan relays are now used only as triggers for an external set of relays with much bigger contacts.
The 10 amp fuse (#43)was my goof but was giving a high voltage code when blown 0EAD8030-83AC-4C16-B71C-506E21D259CC.jpeg
Back on the road now
Just a little over 275,000 km

Amazing what can be improved if you have the mindset for it, I’ve seen you in action a few times. Still have the rear window system for your collection as a spare, still in the trunk, haven’t seen you all summer. Crazy busy, haven’t hardly used the Tang all summer.

The weather is starting to have some promise for clean roads. Time for spring maintenance. Pulled the 4 wheels and checked the brakes. The Hawk pads are still in great shape and the rotors have very little wear. I’ve replaced front rotors at about 100,000k but still on original rear ones at 275,000k. Lubed calliper slider pins, rotated tire positions and got engine oil and filter changed. A/C pressure seems low so still some work to do. The Michelin pilot sport AS3’s are good for a couple of more years as they are still at 7/32nds.

Soon time to get the hose out and remove the winter dust and be ready for the road in 2024.

Yes weather was sketchy thursday with a bit of salt put down, but rain seems to have got 99%
few areas I wouldn't drive yet, but Like Gerry time to get everything done and get ready to play,
so happy to say that, Also like Gerry, needs a very good cleaning.
