EFI Upgrade

Hi
I'm thinking swapping the Holley Carb on my 83 Mustang with a FITeck 31003 series EFI kit. It's my understanding and from what I've read that this particular FITeck EFI unit is ideally suited for those wanting an upgrade for increased cruising reliability and performance

Has anyone out there done this conversion and if so are you happy with the results

I have not heard of anyone doing this in a long time, so not sure best options.
Most now change whole engine, IE coyote or the 4.6l
most with great success.

Thanks for the comment
I'd probably consider that if the engine was hurt in in any way ie burning oil or very high mileage. However with a tight, quiet, numbers matching engine & transmission, with just over 100,000K on it and having no desire to up the HP performance capacity to ridiculous levels in a 35 year old convertible. Improving reliability and fuel economy by swapping the carburetor for an EFI unit is more in line with what I want to do with the car as a cruiser
