1989 Mustang GT 5.0 // Bought not built

Ahh christmas, the time we dream of adding to cars or even cool stuff for garage :)
I am thinking tools this year :)
I guess i need to make my list also.
that might be a good topic on its on.
Car guys Christmas wish list.

Thought I would post an update to this car for 2017.

This spring I did a run of maintenance type upgrades:

- Replaced the heater core (I now have heat!)
- Replaced the ACT clutch which was messed up with a Valeo King Cobra clutch (feels great now!)
- Installed hood struts
- Replaced the leaking power steering pump (on the plus side, my engine has a nice, thick undercoating on it now)

And since then, I've done a few more things like:

- Installed a new Sony head unit and door speakers to have a bit of audio if/when needed
- Installed a new Grant steering wheel and hub setup
- Had the car tuned by Performance Dyno in New Hampshire. The car now makes 452whp and 448tq on 11.1psi and 5600rpm.

And most recently, fixed a bunch of gremlins:

- Replaced speedometer wiring connection at the transmission (had no speedometer for the NH trip!)
- Replaced battery with a new 800CCA battery
- Removed extra wiring from the engine bay from an old audio installation
- Replaced some wiring around the alternator that was causing a charging issue

As of right now, the car is running really, really well. Pretty happy with it from a mechanical standpoint.

Future mods are a rear cobra bumper, rear cobra wing, 01 cobra wheels, and likely a paint job in Spring of 2018!

A few pics attached.

Few big things and lots of little ones, bet it makes a huge difference.
Car works well, I can attest to this from running with you after dyno.
Looks good, works good :)
